Amberations is thrilled to announce that our Wilderness Explorers summer workshop for kids is back for 2026 with another week added. We are fortunate to have former Outdoor Life Learner owner and educator, Carrie Empie, overseeing this program again. Mary Zainchowski is back again as one of the facilitators. Children will enjoy a focus on connecting art and nature through exploration and creativity, all on the magical grounds of Amberations.

Classes will meet the weeks of July 13th, July 20th & Aug 3rd from 9:15 to noon. Registration will be available soon at the link below. Class size is limited to the first 9 participants each week.

Skaneateles Library will be back this summer for 2 story time visits on July 10th and August 14th.

Join Skaneateles Library for Story Time at Amberations ! Learn about Amberations and explore the frog pond, sand pit, and shallow creek. Meet Joe, the donkey, and a variety of friendly goats and feed them some carrot sticks supplied by Ms. Mary Beth. Please dress appropriately and don't forget the sunscreen & insect repellent!

For ages 2 - 5 with a caregiver (older siblings are welcome!).

We are pleased to introduce a new Arts & Crafts Class designed especially for

seniors in our community. This program offers a welcoming and relaxed environment where participants can explore their creativity, learn new skills, and connect with others who share similar interests. The program is free, starts June 16th and runs for four Tuesdays from 9:30am - 11:30am at Amberations.

The class will include a variety of activities such as painting, drawing, fabric collage, and simple DIY crafts. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to try something new and enjoy the creative process. All materials will be provided, and guidance will be available every step of the way.

Beyond creativity, this class is a wonderful opportunity to socialize, reduce stress, and engage in meaningful, hands-on activities. Whether you’re rediscovering a longtime hobby or exploring arts & crafts for the first time, you’ll find encouragement and inspiration here.
